I'll be there for you when you need someone

When all you see is pain

When tears cascade down tired eyes

And each day is the same

I will not run away and hide

In me, you can believe

Take me into your darkest hour

And I will never leave

You can tell me your most inner thoughts

And I won't tell a soul

I'll stay right there by your side

Until you are made whole

You've been hurting now for far too long

And no matter what you say

You don't deserve this pain and strife

This torture every day

I may also not always have the answers

But I'll try my very best

And no matter what you're going through

I won't leave you, like the rest

When your nights are tearful

And you feel you can't be strong
